今日は保護者会とテーブルオフィシャル講習会、その後6年生のお別れ会でした。テーブルオフィシャル講習会では、実際のチームの試合動画を見せながら、スコアシートをつけてもらいましたが、自分が出ていた試合ということで、みんな真剣に見入っていましたし、誰が点数を入れた、誰が交代したという話を子ども同士話をしながら確認している姿が印象的でした。６年制のお別れ会では、コーチから子どもたちへのメッセージや、色紙の手渡しなど、チームとしての2024年度の集大成としての会となり、非常に良かったと思います。昨年12月から始まった当チームですが、明らかにこの数ヶ月で強くなったと思います。これからの成長にも期待したいです。
Today we had a parents’ meeting, a table officials’ workshop, and then a farewell party for the 6th grades. At the table officials’ workshop, we showed a video of an actual team game and had the children keep score sheets. They focused to watch because it was a game they had played in and everybody was talking each other for who scored points or who took turns. At the farewell party for the 6-year grades, the coaches gave messages to the children and the captain handed a message board. I think it was very good that the party was the culmination of the 2024 school year as a team. Our team just started last December and has clearly grown stronger in the past few months. I look forward to seeing more growth in the next school year.
