今日は、「入学おめでとう」の文字が飾られたままの体育館での新年度一回目の練習でした。坂東コーチ不在につき、水曜の土屋コーチにお越しいただきました。シュート練習では、チーム対抗で、２連続で入れないと点数が入らない形式、その他ハーフコートでのオフェンス、ディフェンスの切り替えの激しい練習など、かなり充実した内容だったと思います。今日から未就学児(年長)も加入し、学年もバラけてすごく楽しいチームになってきたかなと思います。最後の試合形式の練習では、だんだんシュートの精度も上がってきた一方、ディフェンスも良くなってきたので中々入らない展開となり、攻守の切り替えが激しい戦いになっていました。
Today was the first practice of the new school year at the sports hall with “Congratulation on getting into the school”. Due to the absence of Coach Bando, Wednesdays’ Coach Tsuchiya made today’s lesson. I think today’s lesson was quite productive, as we practiced shooting, in a team competition format where children have to put in two in a row to score, and also practiced 5 on 5, frequently switching between offense and defense in the half-court. The preschoolers joined the team today, and I think we have become a very enjoyable team with the different grades. In the final game-style practice, while the shooting accuracy was improving and the defense was also getting better, it was a fierce match, difficult to get the points with quick transition of offense and defense.
